Finance

Finance is the study and management of money, investments, and other financial instruments. It encompasses the processes of acquiring funds, managing assets, and projecting future financial performance. Finance deals with the allocation of resources over time, considering both risk and time value of money. The field is broadly divided into three main categories: personal finance, which focuses on individual budgeting, saving, and investing; corporate finance, which deals with the financial activities of businesses, including funding, capital structure, and investment strategies; and public finance, which concerns the financial operations of governments and public entities regarding expenditures, revenues, and the management of public debt. Finance plays a key role in economic activities, facilitating the movement of capital and enabling investment, consumption, and production.
