International Relations

International Relations (IR) is the study of the interactions and relationships between nation-states, as well as other entities such as international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and multinational corporations. The field analyzes political, economic, social, and cultural factors that influence global affairs and the behavior of states in the international system. It encompasses various theories and perspectives, including realism, liberalism, and constructivism, which provide frameworks for understanding power dynamics, cooperation, conflict, and the role of international law and institutions. International Relations also examines issues such as diplomacy, war, trade, human rights, and global governance. The aim is to understand how these relationships shape global policies and influence the lives of individuals and communities worldwide.
