Astrology

Astrology is a belief system that suggests a relationship between the positions and movements of celestial bodies—such as planets and stars—and events and characteristics in human life and the natural world. It is based on the premise that the alignment of these celestial bodies at the time of a person’s birth can influence their personality, behaviors, and life events. Astrologers create horoscopes, which are charts that map the positions of celestial bodies relative to Earth at specific moments, particularly at a person’s birth. These horoscopes are used to interpret an individual’s traits and predict future occurrences. Astrology has ancient roots and has existed in various forms across different cultures but is predominantly known today through its Western and Vedic (Indian) traditions. Despite its popularity, astrology is considered a pseudoscience by the scientific community due to its lack of empirical evidence and reliance on anecdotal validation.
