Climate Science

Climate Science is the study of the Earth’s climate system and the various factors that influence it, including atmospheric conditions, oceanic processes, land surface interactions, and human activities. It encompasses the analysis of historical climate patterns, the mechanisms driving climate change, and the forecasting of future climate conditions. This interdisciplinary field integrates knowledge from meteorology, oceanography, atmospheric chemistry, and environmental science to understand how natural and anthropogenic factors affect the climate. Climate scientists use models, simulations, and empirical data to assess trends in temperature, precipitation, and extreme weather events, as well as to evaluate the impacts of climate change on ecosystems, economies, and human health. Ultimately, climate science aims to inform policy decisions and strategies for mitigating and adapting to climate change.
