Planet Nine

Planet Nine is a hypothetical large planet proposed to exist in the outer region of our solar system, beyond the orbit of Neptune. The existence of Planet Nine is suggested to explain observed gravitational anomalies affecting the orbits of distant trans-Neptunian objects (TNOs). These anomalies indicate that there may be an unseen massive object exerting gravitational influence on these bodies. Researchers estimate that Planet Nine could have a mass several times that of Earth and an elongated, highly elliptical orbit that takes it far beyond the known solar system. As of now, Planet Nine has not been directly observed, and its exact characteristics, such as size, composition, and orbital parameters, remain speculative. The search for this elusive planet has prompted various studies and astronomical surveys in an effort to provide evidence for or against its existence.
